Adding voice and audio to your website will greatly enhance its appeal.

As more webmasters add audio and video, so internet users will come to expect it on good content websites.

The good news is recording audio is easy to do.

You can make the audio stream off the page or you can have it available as a downoad for an iPod or similiar device (podcast).

Audio can be used for presenting news, interviews, recordings of seminars, on-site features and much more.

So how do you get started?

The software we use is Audacity. It is free and can be downloaded from Sourceforge (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/).
